In this role, you will oversee the commercial aspects of projects and have the flexibility to switch to Estimating. The projects cover a variety of sectors including Education, Commercial, Retail, Leisure, and Healthcare, involving both new builds and refurbishments up to that value of a few hundred thousand.This company stands out for its commitment to local works, utilising local suppliers, and placing a strong emphasis on its employees. This position will include the following responsibilities:\n

• Initiating new projects with streamlined procedures
\n
• Handling material procurement and off-site services efficiently
\n
• Collaborating on work package content sheets within the project team
\n
• Managing subcontract invitations and assessing tender responses
\n
• Prioritising cash flow by timely valuation, invoicing, and payment collection
\n
• Supporting final account settlements, including variations and disputes resolution
\n
• Contributing to accurate CVR reports and forecasts
\n
• Ensuring thorough review of tender inquiries for completeness and accuracy
\n
• Managing correspondence and tender documentation across the supply chain
\n
• Analysing project costs and presenting comprehensive price submissions
\n
• Monitoring successful bid stages to align costs with forecasts
\n

Requirements:\n

\n
• Previous project experience in a similar role
\n
• D&B experience
\n
• Degree within Quantity Surveying desirable
\n
• Proficient use of Microsoft Packages
\n
• Relevant driving licence
\n
