Procurement Lead - IT & Software Distribution

\n\nOur client is a leading Managed Services Provider with a comprehensive and rapidly expanding portfolio spanning Cloud, Security, Networking & Connectivity, Mobile, Voice, and Data & AI. As part of their continued growth and transformation, they are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to take ownership of a critical category and play a key role in driving commercial value across the group.
\nThis is a high-impact role offering the chance to shape procurement strategy across a complex, multi-entity organisation. You will lead the IT and software distribution category, working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and procurement colleagues to deliver consistency, value, and operational excellence.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nCategory Leadership - IT & Software Distribution

- Take full ownership of the IT and software distribution category across the group \n
- Lead sourcing activities, including RFPs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations \n
- Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders \n
- Align pricing, volumes, commercial terms, and service level agreements across business units \n
- Track and manage supplier performance, contractual compliance, rebates, and risks through standardised reporting \n
- Coordinate supplier accreditations and partnership programmes across the organisation \n
Group Procurement Coordination

- Collaborate with and support Lead Buyers across other categories and business units \n
- Drive consistency in sourcing processes, templates, supplier tracking, and reporting \n
- Consolidate procurement dashboards and KPIs at a group level \n
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and promote best practice across the procurement function \n
- Provide hands-on support to key projects where required \n
Experienced required:

- Proven experience in procurement within IT, technology, or a managed services environment \n
- Strong background in sourcing, RFP processes, and contract negotiation \n
- Experience managing supplier relationships and driving commercial outcomes \n
- Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels \n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills \n
- Highly organised with strong analytical and reporting capabilities \n
