\nThe Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Step Academy Trust. We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join Beddington Park Primary School on a full-time basis for the academic year, starting in September 2026.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a confident and proactive HLTA who has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will provide targeted one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs while also working closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning across the classroom when required.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide high-quality one-to-one support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting learning to meet individual needs. \n
- Deliver planned interventions and learning activities to support pupil progress. \n
- Work alongside the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities. \n
- Cover lessons and lead learning when required, in line with the responsibilities of an HLTA. \n
- Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. \n
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO as appropriate. \n

- HLTA qualification - essential. \n
- Previous experience working as an HLTA within a UK primary school. \n
- Proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including delivering effective one-to-one support. \n
- Confidence in supporting pupils with a range of additional learning and behavioural needs. \n
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills. \n
- A caring, patient, and flexible approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. \n
