SC Cleared Lead Architect - Cloud, AI & Analytics Platforms

SC Cleared Lead Architect / Inside IR35/ Remote / 6 Month Contract We’re looking for an experienced Lead Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud, analytics, and AI platforms. This is a strategic architecture role where you’ll define end-to-end solutions across AWS, Azure, and on-premise environments, driving modernisation, scalability, security, and performance.You’ll play a key role in architecting advanced analytics platforms using AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, and SAS 9.4/Viya, including leading SAS Viya migration and transformation initiatives.Key Responsibilities\n

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
\n
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient analytics and AI platforms.
\n
• Drive SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya migration and platform modernisation.
\n
• Architect machine learning solutions using AWS SageMaker and Azure Machine Learning.
\n
• Define data platform architecture, analytics pipelines, and enterprise integration patterns.
\n
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement CI/CD and MLOps best practices.
\n
• Provide technical leadership, governance, and architectural guidance to stakeholders and delivery teams.
\n

Essential Skills\n

\n
• Strong enterprise architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and hybrid/on-premise environments.
\n
• Hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker and Azure Machine Learning.
\n
• Proven expertise with SAS 9.4, SAS Viya, and SAS migration programmes.
\n
• Experience designing hosted or managed analytics platforms.
\n
• Strong knowledge of solution architecture frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent).
\n
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, APIs, microservices, and modern cloud architectures.
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
\n
