Technical Support Officer (Housing)
\nReading (RG2 0QX) £14.59 per hour PAYE 3-Month Temporary Contract Office-Based – 5 Days Per Week Full-Time
\nWe are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Officer to join a busy Housing Property Services team based in Reading.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator with strong data management and customer service experience to support the delivery of housing maintenance, repairs and planned works services.
\nWorking within a fast-paced environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring housing maintenance operations run efficiently, helping to deliver a high-quality service to residents, contractors and operational teams.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Manage work orders and job tickets from receipt through to completion and closure. \n
- Raise, allocate and process maintenance jobs using internal management systems. \n
- Liaise with tenants, contractors, tradespeople and internal teams to ensure works are delivered efficiently. \n
- Maintain accurate records, databases and filing systems. \n
- Produce and proofread correspondence, reports and meeting minutes. \n
- Process purchase orders, invoices and associated administrative documentation. \n
- Support performance reporting, customer satisfaction monitoring and data analysis. \n
- Handle enquiries, complaints and service requests professionally and efficiently. \n
What We're Looking For

- Previous experience within an administrative, technical support or housing support environment. \n
- Experience managing work orders, repairs administration or maintenance scheduling. \n
- Strong customer service skills with experience dealing with customers via telephone, email and face-to-face. \n
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. \n
- Experience maintaining databases and processing large volumes of information accurately. \n
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word and other business systems. \n
- Ability to produce reports, minutes, spreadsheets and performance data. \n
- Experience within housing, property services, maintenance, repairs, construction administration or local authority environments would be advantageous. \n

\n£14.59 per hour PAYE 3-Month Temporary Assignment Full-Time Hours Monday to Friday Office-Based in Reading Immediate Start Available
