Site Manager Groundworks

Groundworks Site Manager Location: Cambridge Rate: £300 per day Contract: Long-Term Start: Immediate Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to join a leading groundworks contractor on a long-term project based in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a large-scale residential groundworks package from the early stages through to completion. Key Responsibilities * Managing all day-to-day groundworks operations on site * Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant and material deliveries * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification * Conducting daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inspections * Monitoring progress and reporting to the Project Manager * Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and quality control * Liaising with clients, engineers and the wider project team * Managing site documentation, permits and RAMS compliance Requirements * Previous experience as a Groundworks Site Manager * Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads, infrastructure and external works * Experience working on residential developments * SMSTS * CSCS Card * First Aid at Work * Excellent leadership and communication skills What's on Offer * £300 per day * Long-term contract * Immediate start * Opportunity to work with a leading groundworks contractor * Stable pipeline of future work If you're an experienced Groundworks Site Manager looking for your next long-term opportunity in Cambridge, we'd like to hear from you.
