Fabric Technician Tottenham, North London £40,000 – £45,000 per annum About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Technician to join a leading building services maintenance company, working on a prestigious commercial contract based in Tottenham. Key Responsibilities: Carry out a wide range of fabric maintenance duties, including: Carpentry and joinery repairs Painting and decorating Replacing ceiling tiles Laying and repairing carpet tiles General building fabric maintenance You will also be responsible for: Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in line with SLAs, KPIs, and CPIs Identifying and reporting any hazards or unsafe conditions immediately Ordering materials and services through the company ordering system Updating job sheets and maintenance records to ensure accurate completion of works Maintaining high Health & Safety standards and complying with all HSSE policies Ensuring PPE and tools are kept safe, secure, and in good working order Working alongside and monitoring subcontractors during service visits when required Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial building maintenance Strong carpentry and general building fabric maintenance skills Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proactive attitude with the initiative to identify and complete work without constant supervision City & Guilds or NVQ in Carpentry, Joinery, Building Construction, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (desirable but not essential) Salary & Benefits £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) Overtime opportunities available Private healthcare Ongoing training and professional development Long-term career progression within a growing and well-established business Company pension Holiday allowance Opportunity to work within a supportive and professional team on a prestigious commercial contract
