Senior / Principal Civil Engineer Norwich £55k-£60k plus benefits Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join them at Senior or Principal level, taking a leading role across a varied portfolio that includes education, residential, healthcare, community and heritage projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute, client-facing professional who can build lasting relationships and drive projects forward with confidence. You will lead schemes from concept to completion, overseeing design, delivery and technical quality while ensuring programmes and budgets stay firmly on track. The role combines hands-on technical input with team leadership, mentoring engineers, reviewing detailed designs and maintaining a visible presence on site when needed. You'll also contribute to winning new work, using your credibility and communication skills to strengthen client partnerships. A degree in Civil Engineering is essential, along with strong capability in CAD, PDS, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/FLOW. Experience in flood risk assessments and both private and adoptable drainage design is key, as is a solid understanding of planning, procurement and commissioning processes.
