\nThe Role
\nWe are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant Level 4 (TA4) to join the school from September. This is a rewarding pastoral role, ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with their behaviour, wellbeing, and personal development.
\nThe role will involve:
\nProviding pastoral support to pupils, helping them manage their behaviour and overcome barriers to learning.
\nBuilding positive and trusting relationships with students.
\nSupporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
\nProviding classroom cover, mainly during afternoon sessions.
\nWorking closely with teaching staff and the wider pastoral team to support individual pupil needs.
\nPromoting a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
\nThe Ideal Candidate
\nHolds a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or has significant relevant experience. Has previous experience working within a school or education setting.
\nIs confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies.
\nHas a calm, patient, and consistent approach.
\nCan build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
\nWorks well independently and as part of a wider team.
\nThis role would suit someone who enjoys making a real difference to young people's lives and is passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
