Science Teacher – Long-Term Supply Location: Peterborough Full-Time | Long-Term Supply | September Start Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Peterborough? Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, we'd love to hear from you. These roles offer the consistency of a long-term placement while giving you the opportunity to experience different school settings. Many of our long-term positions also have the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The Role * Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous but not essential). * Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum. * Assess, monitor, and support student progress. * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. * Work collaboratively with the wider Science department and school staff. The Ideal Candidate * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school. * Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. * A passion for inspiring students and raising attainment. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
