Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Salary/Benefits: £27k - £35k + Training & Benefits Our client is a respected and growing name within the Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts across Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have a good track record of working within the industry, with a diverse skillset and strong knowledge of ACOP L8 guidelines. Ideally, you will have good access to the M1 and / or M62 in order to travel efficiently to commercial and local authority premises. For hardworking individuals, our client can also thorough training into risk assessing and / or plumbing. You will be travelling across: Leeds, Garforth, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Batley, Castleford, Pontefract, Normanton, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford, Dewsbury, Morley, Batley, Brighouse, Horsforth, Keighley, Otley, Shipley, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Wetherby, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley, York, Selby, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury. Experience / Qualifications: * Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit * Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines * Able to work independently on site * Flexible to travel as per company needs * Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills * Hardworking attitude The Role: * Attending client sites to conduct pre-planned ACOP L8 compliance duties * Showerhead and acid descales * Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks * TMV servicing and failsafe checks * Mains injections * Water sampling * Temperature monitoring * Updating logbooks * Maintaining high service standards Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Legionella Operative, Environmental Service Technician, Water Management Engineer, Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry; we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.
