HGV Technician – Exeter Area 🚛 💰 Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE + Shift Allowance + Overtime 📍 Location: Exeter Area 🕒 Multiple Shift Patterns Available Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a role that offers flexibility, excellent earning potential and genuine career progression? We're recruiting for skilled HGV Technicians to join a busy, expanding commercial vehicle workshop. With a choice of shift patterns available, you can select the one that best suits your lifestyle while benefiting from long-term job security and ongoing development. 🔧 What's on Offer * £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience * Shift allowance * Overtime available (not guaranteed) * Choice of three shift patterns * Career progression and ongoing training * Long-term job security * Additional company benefits after the qualifying period 🔧 Choose Your Shift Early Shift * Monday to Friday * 6:00am – 3:30pm Evening Shift * Monday to Friday * 1:00pm – 10:30pm * 45-hour week Rotating Split Shift * Week 1: 6:00am – 3:30pm * Week 2: 1:00pm – 10:30pm * Monday to Friday 🔧 The Role * Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles * Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults * Carry out MOT preparation and presentation * Road test vehicles where required * Attend roadside breakdowns when necessary * Complete all job cards and workshop paperwork accurately 🔧 About You * NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance * Previous experience as an HGV Technician * Full UK driving licence * HGV licence and roadside experience desirable but not essential * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills * Reliable with a positive, team-focused attitude If you're looking to join a successful business that values its technicians and offers excellent earning potential, we'd love to hear from you.
