Multi-Skilled Operative (Carpentry)

Pay: £165.00-£185.00 per day Job Description: Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operative (Carpentry) Location: Birmingham Pay Rate: £180 per day (£22.50 per hour, based on an 8-hour day) Start Date: Immediate Job Description We are looking for 1 Multi-Skilled Operative with a background in Carpentry/Joinery to join a nursery school refurbishment project in Birmingham with an immediate start. Duties will include: Stud wall installation Basic carpentry and joinery works Minor plumbing alterations (basic pipework) Basic plastering and skimming Rip out and reinstatement works Assisting other trades as required Please note: Electrical and main plumbing works will be carried out by specialist subcontractors. Requirements NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry, Joinery, or a relevant construction trade (or equivalent experience) Previous refurbishment experience Own PPE (Safety Boots, Hi-Vis, Gloves and Safety Goggles) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and hardworking Available to start immediately Benefits Immediate start Opportunity for ongoing work for the right candidate Application question(s): Do you hold an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or an equivalent qualification)?
