Mechanical Engineer (Contract) – Uxbridge Location: Uxbridge (Work from home, Monday & Friday) Contract: Long-Term Contract Rate: £(Apply online only) a day Our client, a leading Mechanical Building Services design consultancy, is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding projects team on a long-term contract based at Uxbridge. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of prestigious MEP projects within one of the UK's busiest and most technically demanding environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative mechanical design solutions while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team. The Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for producing mechanical building services designs for a variety of commercial and infrastructure projects. You will support the Mechanical Design Manager, work closely with multidisciplinary design teams, and work closely with the management team. Key Responsibilities * Produce detailed mechanical building services designs * Support the Mechanical Design Manager in the successful delivery of multiple projects. * Prepare design calculations, specifications and technical documentation. * Coordinate designs with clients, consultants and other engineering disciplines. * Ensure all designs comply with current Building Regulations, British Standards and industry best practice. * Manage your workload to deliver projects on time and within budget. About You To be considered for this role, you should have: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer within the Building Services sector. * Strong knowledge of mechanical building services design. * Experience working on commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects. * Excellent communication skills and the confidence to represent the business in meetings with clients and stakeholders. * The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a project team.
