Multi Trade Operative – Plastering bias Guilford & Surrounding areas £40,600 + Company Van & Fuel Card Our client, a leading contractor within the social housing sector, is currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their growing repairs and maintenance team. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson with a broad maintenance background who can deliver high-quality repairs and excellent customer service within occupied and void social housing properties. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out responsive repairs and planned maintenance works * Completing a wide range of multi-trade repairs including: * Strong plastering Knmowledge & skills * Carpentry (doors, locks, skirting, basic repairs) * Plumbing (minor repairs such as taps, leaks, and sanitary ware) * Tiling repairs and replacements * Painting and decorating touch-ups * General property maintenance * Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to a high standard * Ensuring all works are completed within agreed service level agreements * Delivering excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes * Accurately completing job sheets and updating works via PDA/tablet systems * Following all health and safety procedures Requirements * Strong plastering skills ideally have NVQ level 2 * Strong all-round trade knowledge across Plastering, carpentry, plumbing, and general building works * Experience working within occupied properties * Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively * Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills * Full UK driving licence * Own tools (preferred unless otherwise supplied) Desirable * Experience using PDA systems for job management What’s on Offer * Competitive salary of £40,600 * Company van and fuel card * Opportunity for permanent employment * Supportive team environment and long-term career progression If you are an experienced Multi Trade Operative looking for your next opportunity within the social housing sector, we would love to hear from you
