Job Title: Electrician's Mate – Hotel Refurbishment Location: Bristol Contract Type: Temporary / Contract Start Date: Monday, 20th July Duration: 9 months The Role We are currently sourcing an experienced Electrician's Mate to assist our team of JIB Electricians on a major, long-term hotel refurbishment project in central Bristol. Working primarily within the hotel rooms, you will be supporting the electricians in completing high-quality 1st and 2nd fix installations to a tight schedule. This is a fast-paced commercial environment that requires a proactive, reliable worker who is used to assisting on large-scale hospitality or residential refurbishments. Key Responsibilities * Assisting electricians with 1st and 2nd fix installations in hotel bedrooms and en-suites. * Pulling cables and assisting with the installation of lighting, power, and data points. * Helping with basic containment work (trunking, tray, and conduit). * Fetching and organizing materials, tools, and equipment. * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. * Adhering strictly to site health and safety protocols. Requirements * Valid ECS Card (Essential). * Proven previous experience working as an Electrician's Mate on commercial or high-end residential sites. * Basic hand tools and standard full PPE. * A strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions accurately
