HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

Our client based in South Manchester area require a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver. We are paying £19.05 per hour (including holiday pay - £17.00ph with accrued holiday pay), Monday to Friday for an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver This vacancy is working for a large, corporate business delivering construction components out of south Manchester. They require a temporary but ongoing, customer facing HGV Class 2 HIAB driver to carry out deliveries around the northwest, Monday to Friday with potential overtime. This role could potentially become a permanent and contracted role with the company for a reliable HGV Class 2 HIAB driver. HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver will need: * Cat-C Licence * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card * For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's) * Experience with ratchet straps * Excellent customer service skills and good literacy * Full UK HGV Class 2 Driving licence, held for 2 years * HIAB licence * Able to work to tight deadlines HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver Duties will include: * Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws * Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance * Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress * Completing paperwork accurately as instructed * Dealing with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner We offer a true, honest, and personal service and you will deal directly with the business owner.
