Refrigeration Engineer

Industrial Refrigeration / Process Cooling Engineer Food & Beverage Sector – Field-Based Role Seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer / Process Cooling Engineer to join a growing service division across the food and beverage industry working across South Wales. Working within a well organised service division covering South Wales, with no nights away and typically home within normal working hours each day. This is a hands-on, field-based role working on large-scale refrigeration and cooling systems within manufacturing plants, distribution centres, and heavy commercial environments. Key Responsibilities: * Installation, service, maintenance, and fault-finding on industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems * Working with ammonia, CO₂, and HFC/HFO systems (experience preferred, qualifications provided. * Diagnosing and repairing faults on refrigeration and chillers * Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes * Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards * Liaising with clients on-site to provide technical support and advice Requirements: * Experience in either industrial refrigeration or heavy commercial refrigeration or process cooling systems within food & beverage environments * Relevant refrigeration qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) * F-Gas certification * Experience with ammonia systems highly desirable * Full UK driving licence Package: * Salary £40K-£46K * OTE £50K-£60K * Door to Door x1.5 * Callout 1-6 * 26 Hols, Medical, pension * Overtime and call-out opportunities * Company vehicle, tools, and uniform * Ongoing training and career development * Opportunity to work on complex, large-scale systems within a specialist sector If you’re a skilled engineer looking to step into a dynamic role within industrial refrigeration and process cooling, we’d love to hear from you
