Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist Location: Hillingdon Hours: 40 hours per week, term time plus 120 additional hours annually and staff training days Salary: NJC Grade 10-11 (Scale Points 33-39) - £46,161.01 - £52,259.01 actual per annum Contract: Permanent The Role We are recruiting a committed and forward-thinking Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist to join a supportive and collaborative therapy team within a specialist educational setting in Hillingdon. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions that promote communication, independence and functional life skills for children and young people with complex needs. Your caseload will include a range of presentations across speech, language, social communication, feeding and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC). Working closely with teachers and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will support the integration of therapy targets into daily learning, ensuring a consistent and holistic approach to student development. About You We are looking for someone who can demonstrate: HCPC registration and experience working at Band 7 level Strong skills in assessment, clinical reasoning and intervention planning Experience working with AAC systems, speech, language and social communication needs The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Confidence working independently while contributing to team development A compassionate, flexible and child-centred approach The Service Our therapy team is friendly, supportive and committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for learners.
