What We Offer 💷 Salary: £24,507.16 per annum (approximately £13.47 per hour) ⏰ Hours: 35 hours per week 📅 Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm 🚐 Company Van: Available in applicable locations and can be taken home for commuting 🦺 Full PPE Provided 🌳 A rewarding role where your work directly improves local neighbourhoods and communal spaces About the Role As a Ground Maintenance Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining outdoor communal areas to a high standard, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and attractive for residents and visitors. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and being part of a supportive team. Key Responsibilities '05; General grounds maintenance across hard and soft landscaped areas '05; Grass cutting and hedge maintenance '05; Litter picking and maintaining site cleanliness '05; Shrub bed maintenance, including weeding and pruning '05; Responding to fly-tipping incidents and waste clearance '05; Safe operation of grounds maintenance equipment '05; Working independently and collaboratively to meet service standards What We're Looking For Essential '14; Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience '14; Ability to carry out physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions '14; Good communication and interpersonal skills '14; Full UK Driving Licence (required) Desirable ⭐ PA1 and PA6 Spraying Licences These nationally recognised qualifications demonstrate competence in the safe handling and application of pesticides and are particularly useful for vegetation management and weed control activities.
