Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Location: Falmer, East Sussex Rate: Up to £400 per day (Inside IR35) Hybrid Working: 3 Days per Week in Office Sector: Water Infrastructure We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a major Southern Water programme based in Falmer. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term infrastructure framework delivering critical projects across the water network. We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within the Water, Civil Engineering, Utilities or M&E sectors and are comfortable operating within NEC4 contract environments. Key Responsibilities: Commercial management of projects from inception through to final account Preparation and assessment of applications, valuations and compensation events Contract administration under NEC4 contracts Cost forecasting, reporting and budget management Management of subcontractor accounts and procurement activities Supporting project teams to achieve commercial and contractual objectivesRequirements: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Water, Civils, Utilities or M&E projects Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, particularly Options A, C and E Excellent commercial and contractual awareness Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Relevant degree or equivalent qualification preferredWhat's on Offer: Up to £400 per day (Inside IR35) Long-term contract opportunity Hybrid working with 3 days per week based in the Falmer office Opportunity to work on a major water infrastructure programmeIf you are a Quantity Surveyor with NEC4 experience and are looking for your next freelance contract, we would like to hear from you.
