They are now seeking an experienced HVAP Data Centre Supervisor to join their engineering team at a prestigious Canary Wharf data centre. What's on Offer Salary of £60,000+ depending on experience Monday to Friday, daytime hours Overtime opportunities Company pension Career development and progression within a global organisation Ongoing training and technical development Comprehensive benefits packageThe Role As the HVAP Data Centre Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe operation and maintenance of critical electrical infrastructure while supervising a team of engineers to ensure the highest standards of service delivery. You will be responsible for delivering customer-specific SLA and KPI requirements, driving operational excellence, and maintaining compliance across all critical engineering activities. Key Responsibilities Produce and manage Critical Environment Work Authorisations (CEWA) for maintenance and project activities. Assess operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures through Safe Systems of Work, SOPs and EOPs. Supervise engineering teams carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within a live critical environment. Carry out asset condition reviews and support lifecycle planning. Manage and comply with customer change control processes, including RNOW approvals. Apply CERM methodologies to identify and manage engineering risks. Confidently use and apply CERMview. Act as the site's appointed High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP). Build strong working relationships with engineers, client representatives and stakeholders. Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example in compliance, quality and best practice. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence. Support the Contract Manager with additional operational duties where required.Essential Requirements High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) qualification - in date or lapsed (essential). City & Guilds Electrical Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent electrical qualification. Critical/Data Centre or other mission-critical building services experience. Strong knowledge of building services and HVAC systems. HV switching experience. Working knowledge of Permit to Work systems. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
