Job Description

EYFS Teaching Assistant Remedy Education are looking for strong EYFS Teaching Assistants to work across schools and nurseries in South London from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid Early Years experience who is confident supporting young children with their learning, development and daily routines. The schools are looking for reliable, nurturing and proactive candidates who understand the EYFS framework and can help create a safe, engaging and positive environment for children to thrive. Role Details: Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant Location: South London Start Date: September Pay: £100-£117 per day Hours: Full-time Qualification: CACHE Level 2 minimum The Role: As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will: * Support children across nursery and Reception settings * Assist with play-based learning and structured EYFS activities * Help children develop communication, social and independence skills * Support phonics, early reading, number work and creative learning * Work closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team * Help maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment * Support daily routines, behaviour, transitions and personal care where required * Observe children's progress and help adapt support to individual needs The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * CACHE Level 2 or above * Strong EYFS experience in a nursery, school or childcare setting * Good understanding of the EYFS framework * A nurturing, patient and reliable approach * Confidence supporting children with different needs and abilities * Strong communication and teamwork skills * A genuine passion for supporting young children's development * An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a September role across South London.
