360 Driver / Groundworker

360 EXCAVATOR DRIVER / GROUNDWORKER - TELECOMS & CIVILS Based Hemel Hempstead UK-Wide Projects | Staying Away Required Long-Term Opportunity | Telecoms & Civils Sector Trades Tech Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Driver / Groundworker for a long-term opportunity within the telecoms and civils sector. The client's main office is based near Hemel Hempstead, but projects are located across the UK. Candidates must therefore be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Hemel Hempstead and willing to stay away during the working week when required. This position would suit a well-rounded operative who is confident operating a 360 excavator while also carrying out general groundworks and civils duties when not operating the machine. The Role Works will include a mixture of: Operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently General groundworks and civils activities Excavations, trenching and reinstatement works Utilities and ducting installation Telecoms infrastructure and compound builds Drainage and associated groundwork Supporting site crews with installations Carrying out manual groundwork duties when required Working closely with supervisors and site management Travelling to projects across the UK What We're Looking For Strong experience operating a 360 excavator Strong groundworks and civils experience Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket Good all-round site knowledge Full UK driving licence Reliable and hardworking attitude Willingness to stay away week-to-week when required Comfortable carrying out groundwork duties when not operating the machine Looking for stable, long-term work Beneficial Tickets and Experience Streetworks CAT and Genny Lifting Operations Telecoms / utilities experience Additional CPCS or NPORS plant tickets The Opportunity Long-term work - Can be Permanent or continue Freelance UK-wide telecoms and civils projects Further training and development available Opportunity to gain additional qualifications Varied work across plant operations, groundworks and utilities Ongoing opportunity within a specialist and growing industry Ideally, candidates will be based within approximately one hour of Hemel Hempstead.
