AC Engineer

Air Conditioning Engineer - London - Contract - Rate Negotiable Overview Fuel Recruitment is working with a leading telecommunications organisation that is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to support the maintenance, installation and repair of cooling systems within telecoms infrastructure sites across London. This is a contract opportunity for a hands-on engineer with experience working in critical environments, including telecoms cabinets, network sites and communications infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring cooling systems operate effectively to maintain network uptime and performance. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning and cooling systems within telecoms cabinets and network sites. * Diagnose and repair faults on a range of HVAC and cooling equipment. * Install, commission and test air conditioning units and associated equipment. * Respond to reactive maintenance call-outs and emergency breakdowns. * Complete service reports, maintenance records and compliance documentation. * Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations and company procedures. Key Skills / Experience * Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or HVAC Engineer. * Experience working within telecoms environments, including street cabinets, data centres, network sites or communications infrastructure. * Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and repair skills. * F-Gas certification (essential). * Knowledge of split systems, DX cooling units and other commercial air conditioning systems. * Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively. * Full UK driving licence. * Strong awareness of health and safety procedures within critical infrastructure environments
