Structural Engineer 📍 Norwich, Norfolk 💰 Competitive Salary + Benefits 🕒 Full-Time | Permanent Due to continued growth and several upcoming projects, we are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to join our team in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to completion. You'll be involved in both the structural design and project delivery of a diverse range of schemes across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments. The Role * Produce structural designs and calculations for a variety of building projects. * Manage projects from initial brief through to completion. * Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation. * Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other consultants. * Attend design meetings and site visits as required. * Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards. * Mentor and support junior engineers where appropriate. Requirements * Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering. * Previous experience working as a Structural Engineer within a UK consultancy. * Experience designing in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry. * Proficient in industry-standard design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, MasterSeries, or similar. * Good understanding of current UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes. * Strong communication and project management skills. * Working towards Chartered status (ICE or IStructE) is desirable but not essential.
