M&E Quantity Surveyor

M&E Quantity Surveyor Location: London Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + Package (DOE) Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Opportunity We are working with a leading M&E Contractor who delivers high-value residential, commercial, healthcare and mixed-use developments across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on projects ranging from £1m to £30m+ MEP value, taking commercial responsibility from pre-construction through to final account. Key Responsibilities * Managing the commercial aspects of mechanical and electrical packages from procurement through to final account. * Preparing and submitting valuations, applications for payment and variation accounts. * Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor packages. * Cost reporting, forecasting and budget management. * Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities. * Preparing and agreeing final accounts with clients and subcontractors. * Assisting with procurement and supply chain management. * Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure commercial success. * Supporting contract administration and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. * Producing monthly CVRs and commercial reports for senior management. Requirements * Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the Building Services sector. * Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installations. * Experience working for an M&E Contractor or Building Services specialist. * Knowledge of standard forms of contract including JCT and NEC. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. * Degree qualified or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
