\nPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Aberdeen.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation across the UK. The successful candidate will undertake a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across a varied portfolio of commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties throughout Aberdeen and the surrounding region.
THE ROLE\nAs an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering both asbestos surveying and analytical services to a high professional standard while ensuring full compliance with current HSE guidance and UKAS procedures.
\nWorking independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will manage a varied workload across multiple client sites while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n- \n

Conducting Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
\n - \n
Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248
\n - \n
Producing accurate, detailed, and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
\n - \n
Collecting bulk samples and maintaining accurate site records
\n - \n
Working across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties
\n - \n
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
\n - \n
Ensuring all work is completed in line with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS standards

BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
\n - \n
Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
\n - \n
Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and UKAS requirements
\n - \n
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
\n - \n
Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
\n - \n
Full UK driving licence
\n - \n
