Flooring Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Salary and Package £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary plus package (to be discussed at interview). Location Glasgow Full-time, Permanent Position If you are an experienced Flooring Quantity Surveyor / Estimator looking for a varied commercial role, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established flooring division within a respected construction business. This Flooring Quantity Surveyor / Estimator position offers involvement in projects delivered across the UK while being based in Glasgow. The successful Flooring Quantity Surveyor / Estimator will play a key role in both estimating and commercial management, supporting projects from tender through to final account. About the Role This role combines estimating and commercial management responsibilities across a varied portfolio of flooring projects. Approximately 80% of the workload supports projects delivered within the wider group, with the remaining 20% involving direct external clients. Your responsibilities will include: * Preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for flooring projects. * Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation. * Managing project costs from award through to final account. * Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports. * Procuring subcontractors and materials where required. * Monitoring project profitability and commercial performance. * Working closely with operational teams to support successful project delivery. * Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and clients throughout the project lifecycle. * Identifying commercial risks and opportunities. * Supporting continuous improvement across estimating and commercial processes.
