Job Title: Site Manager - Social Housing Refurbishment Location: Birmingham Start Date: Immediate (Monday 27th July) Contract Duration: Until 28th August Pay Type: PAYE or Umbrella Only (CIS is not available for this role) About the Role Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in social housing refurbishments? We are currently recruiting a dedicated Site Manager to oversee a busy kitchen and bathroom refurbishment contract based in Birmingham. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, driving progress to meet strict deadlines, and ensuring high standards of quality, health, and safety are maintained throughout the duration of the project. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations for kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works across social housing properties. Manage trades, sub-contractors, and direct workforce to ensure works are delivered on schedule. Act as the main point of contact on-site for tenants, sub-contractors, and client representatives. Enforce site Health & Safety policies, conduct RAMS assessments, and run toolbox talks. Ensure all works are completed to specification and maintain exceptional quality control standards. Key Requirements Experience: Proven experience managing Social Housing Refurbishment contracts (specifically internal works / kitchens and bathrooms) is essential. Qualifications: Valid CSCS Black or White Card (Essential) SMSTS & First Aid at Work Communication: Excellent tenant liaison and site management skills. Locality: Must be based within a reasonable commute of Birmingham. Payment Terms Important: This role does NOT accept CIS. Candidates must be willing to work via PAYE or an approved Umbrella company.
