CAD Technician

We’re hiring: Civil CAD Technician / Design Technician (Energy Infrastructure) Advance Grid Solutions is expanding its engineering design team and we’re looking for a Civil CAD Technician to support delivery across BESS, substation and energy infrastructure projects. 🔧 Role focus: - General arrangements & site layouts - Drainage, earthworks & civil detailing - Cable duct & trench layouts - Concrete, RC & steelwork drawings - Working from mark-ups and survey data to produce buildable drawings You’ll also support temporary works (haul roads, working platforms, access) and have opportunities for site visits to see designs brought to life. '05; Ideally we’re looking for: - 2–6 years’ experience in a civil / CAD role - Strong AutoCAD skills (Civil 3D beneficial) - BIM knowledge (advantageous) - Experience across infrastructure, energy or civil projects - Ability to turn sketches and mark-ups into accurate drawings - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 👥 You’ll be working within a close-knit team alongside a Chartered Civil Engineer and other design professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of renewable energy projects. 📍 Scotland (with site visits as required) 🕒 Full-time
