Weβre Hiring: BOAS Engineer (Boiler Operation & Steam) π₯π¨π¨ π Northwest London (Public Sector Contract) π· Β£50,000 - Β£52,000 per annum π’ Leading UK Facilities Management Provider We are currently recruiting for an experienced BOAS Engineer π§π₯ to join a leading UK Facilities Management organisation, supporting a high-profile public sector contract in North West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a critical, highly regulated environment, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of boiler plant and steam systems across a large and complex estate. π₯π’ You will play a key role in maintaining operational reliability, safety, and statutory compliance of all boiler and pressure systems, directly supporting essential public services. &99;οΈπ¨ π§ What you'll be doing: '14;οΈ Carrying out safe operation, monitoring, and maintenance of boiler plant and steam systems π₯ '14;οΈ Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across mechanical and boiler systems π§ '14;οΈ Completing statutory inspections and BOAS-compliant checks in line with regulations π '14;οΈ Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise system downtime &99;οΈ '14;οΈ Supporting optimisation of boiler performance and energy efficiency initiatives π&A1; '14;οΈ Working as part of a multi-skilled FM engineering team across a large estate π’ '14;οΈ Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and site procedures π¦Ί '14;οΈ Maintaining accurate logs, records, and compliance documentation for audits π π· What we're looking for: β Essential: β’ BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme) certification π₯π β’ Proven experience working with boiler plant and steam systems π¨ β’ Background in Facilities Management, building services, or critical environments π’ β’ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills π β’ Solid understanding of Health & Safety and statutory compliance requirements π¦Ί β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team π€ β Desirable: β’ Experience within large-scale or public sector estates π₯ β’ Knowledge of energy efficiency improvements and plant optimisation &A1; β’ Experience maintaining compliance documentation and audit readiness π πΌ Whatβs on offer: π· Β£50,000 - Β£52,000 salary π’ Stable, long-term public sector contract π§ Work on critical boiler and steam systems in a high-profile environment π Strong career development and technical progression opportunities π Ongoing training and upskilling within specialist mechanical systems π€ Supportive and experienced FM engineering team π Secure role within a leading UK Facilities Management organisation π If you're a qualified BOAS Engineer π₯π¨ looking for a stable, technically challenging role within a critical public sector environment, weβd love to hear from you
