\nAn ambitious and inclusive secondary school in South London is seeking an experienced Senior Curriculum Leader - SENDCO to join its leadership team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an established SENDCO or aspiring senior leader to shape SEND provision across Key Stages 3-5 while playing a key role in whole-school improvement.
\nThe Role

- Lead and develop the school's SEND strategy and provision across Years 7-13. \n
- Act as the designated SENDCO, overseeing EHCPs, annual reviews and statutory processes. \n
- Drive inclusive teaching and learning across all departments. \n
- Lead, develop and line manage SEND staff and Learning Support Assistants. \n
- Monitor pupil progress and ensure effective interventions for students with additional needs. \n
- Work closely with parents, external agencies and senior leaders to secure excellent outcomes for students. \n
- Contribute to whole-school leadership, safeguarding, curriculum development and school improvement initiatives. \n
- Teaching commitment of approximately 16 periods per cycle. \n
The Ideal Candidate
\n- \n
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. \n
- Proven experience leading SEND provision within a secondary school. \n
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes. \n
- Outstanding leadership, communication and organisational skills. \n
- Passionate about inclusion, achievement and student wellbeing. \n
