This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a thriving Humanities department and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. As a History Teacher, you will play a key role in bringing the past to life, helping students develop critical thinking skills, analyse historical events, and understand how history shapes the modern world. The Role Teach History across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential) Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to support student achievement Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment Contribute to curriculum planning and the wider Humanities faculty Support enrichment activities that enhance students' learning experiences The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a talented History specialist who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills Can motivate and engage learners of all abilities Maintains high expectations for student attainment and behaviour Is committed to raising achievement and supporting student wellbeing Works collaboratively and contributes positively to school life What's on Offer?
