M&E Storeman – Major Student Accommodation Project – Manchester £19.00 per hour | 45 Hours per Week | July Start | 2-Year Project We are currently recruiting an experienced M&E Storeman to join a major student accommodation development in Manchester. Working for a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the site M&E stores, ensuring materials are received, organised and distributed efficiently to support project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a prestigious project with an expected duration of up to 2 years. The Role * Managing all deliveries into the site M&E stores. * Receiving, checking and recording incoming materials. * Organising and maintaining an efficient and well-managed stores area. * Allocating and issuing materials to site operatives and supervisors. * Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. * Liaising with suppliers, site management and project teams. * Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and materials issued. * Ensuring the stores remain clean, organised and compliant with site procedures. Project Details * Location: Manchester * Project: Large Student Accommodation Development * Start Date: Immediate * Duration: Up to 2 years * Rate: £19.00 per hour * Hours: 45 hours per week Requirements * Previous experience working as an M&E Storeman or in a similar site stores role. * Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials. * Experience managing deliveries and allocating materials on construction projects. * Strong organisational and communication skills. * Ability to work closely with site management, supervisors and subcontractors. * CSCS Card Essential. * Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
