SEN TeacherLocation: Gravesend, KentStart Date: September 2026 or ASAP
\nAcademics are working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Gravesend, who are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from September, with the potential for the role to become permanent. For the right candidate, an earlier start may also be available.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and well-established SEN setting, where a child-centred approach and strong teamwork are at the heart of everything they do. Experience supporting or leading within a SEND team would be highly desirable.
\nThe Role:

- Full-time SEN Teacher position \n
- Working with pupils with a range of needs including ASD, communication difficulties, and complex needs \n
- Teaching small class sizes with strong TA support \n
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to EHCPs \n
- Working closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff \n
Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential \n
- Previous SEN experience is desirable \n
- Minimum of 1 year UK teaching experience \n
- Strong teamwork and communication skills \n
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) \n
