We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics for short-term cover at our academy. This role involves teaching Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (A Level) and is not suitable for ECTs (NQTs).

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Teach Physics to students at Key Stage 3, 4, and A Level.
    • \n
  • Follow the academy's curriculum and standards to deliver high-quality lessons.
    • \n
  • Engage and motivate students to achieve their highest potential.
    • \n
  • Manage classroom settings and ensure a conducive learning environment.
    • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    \n
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - candidates without QTS will not be considered.
    • \n
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
    • \n
  • A minimum of two satisfactory references.
    • \n
  • Must be available to start in September 2026.
    • \n
  • Previous experience in teaching Physics at secondary school level is essential.
