\nWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to join Beckfoot Upper Heaton. Beckfoot Upper Heaton is a vibrant and inclusive school committed to creating an environment where every student can thrive.
\nAs a Behaviour Support Worker, you will work closely with students, staff, and families to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning. A key part of being a Behaviour Support Worker is helping students overcome barriers, develop social and emotional skills, and achieve their full potential.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural needs \n
- Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being \n
- Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff to create tailored support plans \n
- Monitor and record progress, ensuring interventions are effective and timely \n
- Act as a positive role model, building strong relationships with students and families \n
What We’re Looking For
\n- \n
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting \n
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to complete one \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills \n
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in challenging situations \n
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children \n
