We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school, focusing on supporting a specific child with their educational needs. This role involves assisting in the writing and planning of personalized educational plans to enhance the learning experience of the child.
\nDay-to-day of the role:
\n- \n
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to develop tailored educational plans that cater to the specific needs of the child. \n
- Implement and adapt educational materials and resources to meet the learning requirements of the child. \n
- Monitor and assess the child's progress, adapting strategies as needed to ensure effective learning outcomes. \n
- Provide one-on-one support to the child, focusing on enhancing their academic skills and confidence. \n
- Maintain regular communication with parents and other educators about the child's progress and any changes to educational plans. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus on Special Educational Needs (SEN). \n
- Experience in a similar role within a mainstream secondary school environment. \n
- Strong understanding of the educational needs and challenges faced by children with SEN. \n
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to create effective educational plans. \n
- Compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. \n
