We are recruiting a committed teaching assistant to support pupils with complex SEND needs in a vibrant and inclusive school community.

About the Role

    \n
  • Provide personalised support for pupils with MSI, ASD, PMLD, PD, and SLD.
  • \n
  • Adapt learning materials and sensory resources to enhance engagement and communication.
  • \n
  • Assist with personal-care routines, mobility support, and independence-building tasks.
  • \n
  • Work closely with teachers and therapy teams to deliver targeted interventions.
  • \n
  • Support pupils during therapeutic sessions, outdoor learning, and community-based activities.
  • \n
  • Contribute to progress monitoring, behaviour support strategies, and IEP reviews.
  • \n

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting SEND pupils.
  • \n
  • Empathy, resilience, and a proactive approach.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • \n
  • Qualifications such as CACHE, NVQ, or TA Level 2/3 are beneficial.
  • \n
  • Desire to grow as a teaching assistant.
  • \n

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
