The Role\n

As the successful Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the curriculum while ensuring every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their best.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress effectively

  • Supporting pupils in preparation for Key Stage 1 assessments

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

This position offers the stability of a full academic year placement, allowing you to build strong relationships with pupils and make a lasting impact.

What We're Looking For\n

To be considered, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • \n
  • Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
  • \n
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of phonics, assessment, and KS1 curriculum expectations
  • \n
  • Be confident in driving pupil progress and attainment
  • \n
  • Possess excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • \n
  • Be proactive, organised, and committed to delivering outstanding teaching
  • \n
  • Have a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
  • \n
