Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting young people's education? Engage Education is looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in a range of welcoming secondary schools across Worthing.

This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, graduates, experienced Cover Supervisors, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

Your role will include:

• Supervising classes during the short-term absence of the classroom teacher.
\n
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.
\n
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
\n
• Creating a positive and productive learning environment.
\n
• Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
\n

What we're looking for:

\n
• Confidence managing groups of secondary-aged students.
\n
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
\n
• A positive, professional, and adaptable approach.
\n
• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
\n
• The right to work in the UK.
\n
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or you must be willing to process one through Engage Education at a cost of £54.70.
