Job Details

We are seeking a patient and experienced Tutor to support a Year 10 student with ASD on a 1:1 basis in the DT6 area.

This role will involve delivering personalised support to help the student engage with learning in a way that suits their individual needs, building confidence and promoting positive educational outcomes.

• Location: DT6

• Hours: Initially 5 hours per week, increasing to up to 10 hours per week
\n
• Days: Tuesday and Thursday
\n
• Start Date: ASAP
\n
• Type: 1:1 Tutoring
\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor who enjoys working closely with students and adapting their approach to meet individual learning needs.

Requirements

• Experience working with students with ASD
\n
• Ability to build positive relationships and engage learners on a 1:1 basis
\n
• Patient, flexible, and supportive approach
\n
• Experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or SEN support
\n
• Strong communication skills
\n
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
