\nAs a Front-End Developer, you will have the chance to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, engage in modern delivery processes, and participate in innovative projects, including those involving AI and ML.
\nDay-to-day of the role:
\n- \n
- Design, code, test, and document a range of applications from small scale to large, complex or mission-critical in a cloud-first environment. \n
- Build web-based Front-End interfaces interacting with RESTful APIs using React, Next JS, and other web technologies. \n
- Work closely with test engineers to ensure a common understanding of the code base and test coverage. \n
- Proactively investigate problems and opportunities in existing processes, evaluating and communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders. \n
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver highly user-focused and successful digital services, ensuring governance standards are adhered to. \n
- Implement toolkits and APIs for purposes such as integration, performance optimisation, security, and scalability. \n
- Explore innovative ways to solve problems, working in a fail-fast fashion to provide required functionality. \n
- Apply HMG IA technical security controls according to ISO 27001 & the Security Policy Framework (SPF). \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Significant experience in delivering technical solutions as part of large projects. \n
- Proficient with modern delivery models such as Scrum and Agile. \n
- Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly Azure. \n
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Git. \n
- Advocate of DevOps principles. \n
- Excellent understanding of React and experience with Next JS. \n
- Strong knowledge of Node JS and experience working with RESTful web services. \n
- Good understanding of architectural principles with design patterns such as SOA and Micro-Services. \n
