West London | 3 month contract, 37.5 hours per week| £19.21 - £21.28 umbrella

A leading NHS Trust in London is seeking an Electrician to join its Estates & Facilities team, supporting a diverse healthcare estate across multiple sites.

The Role

You will deliver a broad range of planned, reactive, and minor works, ensuring electrical systems and infrastructure are maintained safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, fault finding, and installation across electrical plant and building services
\n
• Work on systems including fire alarms, nurse call, CCTV, access control, lighting & power distribution
\n
• Ensure compliance with HTMs, statutory regulations, and NHS standards
\n
• Act as a Competent Person for LV systems where required
\n
• Use CAFM/mobile systems to manage and close work orders within SLAs
\n
• Participate in on-call rota (24/7 cover) and emergency response
\n
• Support contractor management and ensure adherence to safety procedures
\n
• Undertake testing, inspections, and planned preventative maintenance
\n

Requirements

\n
• Completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent
\n
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 / City & Guilds
\n
• 18th Edition (BS7671) essential
\n
• Strong experience in commercial or healthcare environments
\n
• Experience working on LV systems, alarms, and building services plant
\n
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, reactive environment
\n
• Good communication skills and strong problem-solving ability
\n
• Full UK driving licence desirable

• Previous NHS or healthcare experience
\n
• Electrical inspection & testing (2391 or equivalent)
