\nWe're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in SEMH schools and Alternative Provision settings across Brentwood.This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 8-16 with additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), ADHD, PTSD, ASD and challenging behaviours.
\nWhat you'll be doing:* Supporting pupils with additional needs in their learning and personal development* Working closely with class teachers to create engaging and interactive activities* Helping children develop social skills and positive relationships* Maintaining a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment* Making a genuine difference to young people's lives every day
\nWhat we're looking for:* A genuine interest in supporting young people, especially those with mental health needs* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Patience, empathy and resilience* Previous experience is a bonus - but not essential as full training will be given
\nThe role:* Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only* Pay: from £95 per day and upwards depending on experience* Start: September and Temp to Perm options* Location: Brentwood
