CSCS Driving Labourer
Job Description
Responsive Personnel are pleased to be working with a leading site service company who are expanding their teams across the UK due to business growth and are looking to recruit Driving Labourers with a valid CSCS card to assist with the offloading and positioning goods such as kitchen units, worktops, furniture, and bedroom items at various new-build sites on a permanent basis.
\nThis is a hands-on role that requires physical fitness, professionalism, and a proactive attitude.
\nLocation: Cardiff
\nHours: 8am - 4pm (typically)
\nPay: £110 - £130 per day
\nSchedule: Monday to Friday
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Meet delivery vehicles at assigned sites to offload and position goods into the correct houses and flats \n
- Ensure all work is carried out professionally, safely, and efficiently \n
- Take photographic evidence of completed jobs to confirm successful delivery and setup \n
- Communicate clearly and professionally with site teams and clients \n
- Be willing to collect your co-working labourer on route to site \n
**Prior to starting, you will need to attend a 5-day training course. This will be paid training at £400 plus a fuel allowance of £0.25 per mile to reach the training location**
\nEssential Qualifications & Experience:
\n- \n
- Valid CSCS card – must be CITB Certified \n
- Access to your own vehicle is essential \n
- Full UK driving licence \n
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items \n
- Ability to follow written instructions and diagrams \n
- Reliable, punctual, and presentable with strong customer service skills \n
- Willing to travel up to 2 hours from your home location \n
Progression:

- Enrolment on to enhanced ‘Platinum Scheme’ from week 12 (subject to performance and reliability) \n
- Sub-Contract offered at week 12 for successful candidates \n
- Enrolment into the company’s ‘Fast Track’ career development programme \n
Mileage:
\nReimbursed at 25p per mile, excluding the first 30 miles of daily travel
\nPPE Requirements:
\nCandidates must provide and wear their own PPE, including:

- Hard hat \n
- Hi-vis vest or jacket \n
- Gloves \n
