Infrastructure Team Lead (12-Month FTC)
\nGlasgow City Centre, Hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office.
\nI’m looking for an experienced Infrastructure Team Lead to join our Glasgow-based IT function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a skilled infrastructure team, drive operational excellence, and play a key role in delivering critical services across our global organisation.
\nWhat You'll Be Doing:
\nAs Infrastructure Team Lead, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of the Infrastructure team, ensuring the successful delivery of services across Server & Compute, Network, and Collaboration platforms. You'll work closely with stakeholders and fellow team leaders to prioritise workloads, manage resources, and continuously improve service delivery.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach and support Infrastructure team members \n
- Manage work allocation, capacity planning and prioritisation \n
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction \n
- Oversee change management activities to minimise business impact \n
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives \n
- Manage BAU activities, Jira backlogs and continuous improvement initiatives \n
- Act as a key escalation point and drive issues through to successful resolution \n
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and wider IT teams \n
What We're Looking For:

- Proven team leadership and people management experience, ideally within a global organisation \n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills \n
- Experience managing operational escalations and delivering positive outcomes \n
- Experience delivering BAU initiatives and small internal projects \n
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices \n
- A passion for service improvement and operational excellence \n
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands effectively \n
