An established AJ100 national architectural practice with multiple offices across the UK is seeking an ambitious and motivated Intermediate Architectural Technician / Technologist to join its growing Wakefield team. With projects located nationwide, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a collaborative and experienced team environment while taking ownership of project responsibilities and contributing to the successful delivery of schemes from technical design through to completion.

Daily Duties

\n
• Produce and develop detailed technical design information from RIBA Stage 4 onwards
\n
• Prepare, update and issue comprehensive working drawing packages
\n
• Coordinate project information with consultants, contractors and the wider design team
\n
• Attend and contribute to design team and site meetings
\n
• Liaise directly with main contractors and specialist subcontractors throughout project delivery
\n
• Monitor project progress and assist in resolving technical and construction-related queries
\n
• Support the delivery of high-quality projects within agreed timescales and budgets
\n
• Manage and coordinate smaller-scale projects where required
\n

Ideal Candidate

\n
• Qualified Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist
\n
• Several years job running and post-qualification experience within an architectural practice
\n
• Experience attending site meetings and managing smaller-scale projects
\n
• Revit is essential
\n
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team
\n
• Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge
\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills
\n
• Full UK driving licence preferred due to occasional travel to projects across the UK
\n
• Proactive, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality work
\n
