FTC Building Surveyor

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Building Surveyor (London / Hybrid). You will mainly deal with property reinstatement, with projects ranging from £50k to £5m.The Role\n

\n
• Lead projects to reinstate commercial properties after damage
\n
• Attend site to carry out technical assessments and the investigation of claims
\n
• Determine causation / defect diagnosis and policy liability
\n
• Decline claims where appropriate
\n
• Determine nature and extent of damage
\n
• Prepare / submit full ABI reports, outlining findings and recommendations
\n
• Oversee complex repair schemes, sub-structure and super-structure
\n
• Liaise with contractors and all relevant external suppliers
\n
• Work closely with and support the Contractor Network
\n
• Review claims and deal with variations
\n

Skills / Qualifications\n

\n
• Prior subsidence / Loss Adjusting experience
\n
• Ideally you will be MRICS, MCIOB, C.BuildE qualified... although this is not essential
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
\n
• Excellent customer service, organizational & communication skills
\n
